our town critically dependent on a reliable and healthy
transportation infrastructure. .The Committee will work to
ensure that the transportation needs of the Emeryville business
community are represented by:
-
Working with
federal, state, regional and local governmental agencies to
identify specific impediments and needed enhancements to the
local transportation infrastructure and work to successfully
address them;
-
Monitoring federal,
state, local and regional legislation that impacts the local
transportation network and, working with the Government Affairs
Committee, recommending appropriate policy positions for Chamber
action;
-
With the Government
Affairs Committee, reviewing state and local ballot measures
that impact the transportation and infrastructure network and
recommending appropriate policy positions for Chamber action;
-
Helping to organize
and sponsor Chamber luncheons, seminars, and other events related
to transportation and infrastructure issues.
-
Serving as a unified
business voice on local transportation issues.
Structure:

Association Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is open
