Become a member of the
Emeryville Chamber of Commerce and discover why we're "The Voice
of Emeryville Business."
Simply print out the Membership
Application Form and fax or mail the
form back with your first year's membership dues. That's all it
takes! You'll be entered into our database and will be notified
of all Chamber events and activities.
Chamber Membership Dues
Annual membership dues are based on your company's total number of FTE employees at your local business address.
Branch Memberships: The FIRST membership of a business is at the regular rate per the dues schedule. Other branches of the SAME
institution may join at the $255 rate per branch (pro-rated amount $128).
Government and other public sector agencies pay at the regular dues amount based on number of employees.
Non-profit members must be 501(c)(3) entities. Non-profit pay half the amount of a business membership based on the number of paid staff.
Renewals are due in January of each year. Renewal invoices are sent in December for the following year and are payable upon receipt. Companies not renewing by February 28 will be dropped from the web site and membership listings, and will not be eligible for member benefits or discounts until dues are paid. The renewal amount is the full dues amount no matter when in the year payment is made.
Full dues or Pro-rated dues? Since companies become members throughout the year, the Chamber pro-rates dues during the year so that all members have a renewal date of January 1. If you join between January 1 and June 30, please pay the full dues amount. If you join between between July 1 and October 31, pay the pro-rated amount. If you join in November or December, please pay the full dues amount. Your membership will be good for the whole of the next year—13 or 14 months for the price of 12!
There is a $35 one-time only application fee for new members.
The $255 dues rate is reserved for single-person businesses with
no employees.

Web Premier Membership is an additional $250 per year and offers excellent promotional opportunities for your company.

Public Education Institutions pay at one of two levels depending on the number of employees on campus. Schools with fewer than 200 employees pay $455 for a full year and $228 pro-rated July through October. Schools with 200 or more employees pay $570 for a full year and $285 pro-rated July through October.
Other Dues Rates
- Non-Profit (501c 3) - half the amount of a business membership based on the number of paid staff.
- Resident (non-business) $100 - Resident membership is a non-business membership and is open only to residents of Emeryville. Not all Chamber benefits are available to resident members. Resident members are not listed in the business directory on the web site.
Your chamber investment is deductible from your income taxes as an ordinary business expense.

Chairman's Circle membership provides Emeryville Chamber of Commerce members with exclusive, high-level benefits commensurate with their business, civic, and community leadership. The Chairman’s Circle is a special group of Chamber members who have committed to support the Emeryville Chamber of Commerce through sponsorships at various financial levels.
