Please note: DO NOT USE MAPQUEST, GOOGLE MAPS OR YAHOO MAPS TO FIND OUR LOCATION. They all show 3980 as being on the South side of the East Bay Bridge Center (Home Depot/Best Buy/Comp USA/Office Max/Office Depot). This is incorrect. We are on the North side, with 40th Street as our northern border.

From San Francisco: Take the Bay Bridge to I-80 East. Exit Powell Street. Turn right onto Powell Street. At the 2nd light (Hollis Street), turn right. Follow Hollis to 40th Street (light). Turn left. The next street where you can turn right is Harlan Street. Make a right turn. We are the 2nd store front, on your left, on the first block just after you turn, underneath the Bridgecourt Apartments that run along 40th Street. It looks like you are turning into the Home Depot parking lot (in essence, you are). Park anywhere in the lot.

From Sacramento/Berkeley: Take I-80 West. Exit Powell Street. Turn left onto Powell. Proceed straight to Hollis St. (3rd light) and turn right. Follow Hollis to 40th Street (light). Turn left. The next street where you can turn right is Harlan Street. Make a right turn. We are the 2nd store front, on your left, on the first block just after you turn, underneath the Bridgecourt Apartments that run along 40th Street. It looks like you are turning into the Home Depot parking lot (in essence, you are). Park anywhere in the lot.

From Oakland via the highway: Follow San Francisco directions beginning when you reach I-80. Take the Powell Street exit. Follow the directions from that point forward in the San Francisco directions, above.

From Oakland via surface streets, coming from the South: Find your way to San Pablo Avenue. Follow San Pablo Avenue to 40th Street. Turn left on 40th Street. Pass Emery Street, then Watts Street. The next street is Harlan. (A landmark for you is the building on the Northwest corner of Harlan and 40th – THE BESLER BUILDING – which is kitty corner from our location). Turn left. We are the 2nd store front on your left, on the first block just after you turn left, underneath the Bridgecourt Apartments that run along 40th Street. It looks like you are turning into the Home Depot parking lot (in essence, you are). Park anywhere in the lot.

From Oakland/Berkeley via surface streets, coming from the North: Find your way to San Pablo Avenue. Follow San Pablo Avenue to 40th Street. Turn right on 40th Street. Pass Emery Street, then Watts Street. The next street is Harlan. By BART: Exit MacArthur Blvd. Station. Walk to the front of the station. Catch the Emery-go-Round (free shuttle bus service in Emeryville). They run every 10-20 minutes weekdays. Note: there are two Emery Go-Round buses (Powell Street route and Hollis Street route). You want the Powell Street route. It will go down 40th Street. Get off at Hollis Street. Cross 40th Street to the other side (Verizon Wireless is on the corner). Walk back (going East) one block to Harlan Street. Turn right. We are the 2nd store front on the first block just after you walk on to Harlan, underneath the Bridgecourt Apartments that run along 40th Street (on the opposite side of the street from where you are walking). By AC Transit from the North: The #72 runs along San Pablo Avenue, both north and south. Take the #72 to 40th Street. Cross 40th at San Pablo (going South) so you are on the same side of the street as Baskin Robbins (which is on the corner of Emery and 40th Street). (Stop in and get a cone!). You are going to walk three blocks west on 40th Street passing Emery Street and Watts. The third block is Harlan. Turn left onto Harlan Street. We are the 2nd store front on the first block just after you walk on to Harlan, underneath the Bridgecourt Apartments that run along 40th Street. By AC Transit from the South: The #72 runs along San Pablo Avenue, both north and south. Take the #72 to 40th Street. By Amtrak: Exit the station. Walk up 59th Street to Hollis. Grab the Emery Go-Round (free shuttle bus that travels Emeryville). Get off at 40th Street and Emery Streets. Cross 40th Street to the southwest corner (be careful crossing!!). Walk backwards (not literally), really west, two blocks (Watts, then Harlan), to Harlan Street. Turn left.
